About Timothy Jackson

I'm 29, happily married to my soulmate, and we have a TERRIFIC TWO-YEAR-OLD together. Life is good! Being born and raised in Buffalo, NY has taught me more than how to shovel during the coldest storms. This city and the people here have shown me how to love with a burning passion, how to support those in need, and always to strive and have hope for a prosperous future. Starting my career in Maintenance Assistance at the age of 14 has taught me to be humble and has developed a work ethic that continues to be steadfast. As a 2020 graduate from the program of Higher Education Student Affairs Administration (H.E.S.A.A.) at Buffalo State University and a current Middle School Guidance Counselor, I am working diligently to cultivate a skill set that will help me incorporate core competencies and ethical philosophies into my life and future practices. I also have previous supervising experience from the Buffalo Employment Training Center (BETC), where I worked with inner-city youth to help them develop pride in new responsibilities, time management skills, and leadership practices. Lastly, I am always open to new opportunities and experiences; as long as I can have a balance in prioritizing my mental health and my family, I am hoping to continue to grow!
