After graduating from high school in 2009, I had several odd jobs including a position at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, where I started as part of the grounds crew digging graves, opening and closing crypts, assisting in funerals, and general cleaning and maintenance. I was quickly promoted to mortuary administrator where I became an expert in filing death certificates and interacting with vendors, doctors, funeral directors, health departments, coroners, and family members to ensure that the decedent was taken care of from time of death until after internment.I earned a Bachelors of Science in aerospace engineering from UCLA with a GPA of 3.58 in my upper division classes. I led a Design Build Fly group at UCLA where we designed a mono-propeller remote controlled plane to competition requirements, fabricated parts from scratch, and manufactured it.I joined SAIC as a GNC engineer after UCLA where we modeled every aspect of a launch vehicle to ensure governmental requirements were met using independent and launch vehicle contractor models. This position involved a multitude of responsibilities including, but not limited to, programming, writing formal reports, cross-functional communication, presentations, stability analysis, requirements verification, day of launch support, tracking lessons learned, and scheduling.I started at Lockheed Martin in September 2021 and rapidly came up to speed, becoming both lead of our standardization efforts and the lead of a verification and validation effort for our radar simulation. I transitioned laterally to support modeling and simulations on Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) teams before moving into a leadership role guiding ten project teams towards a user-centric, value maximized product.
