About Timothy Mentele

I love solving problems and delivering solutions. With 15 years of experience in Manufacturing and Engineering Data Systems, I've honed a very strong technical skillset, driving projects and entire programs from inception to completion in a variety of spaces. My primary experience is in the Pharmaceutical and Tech sectors, but I also have implemented multi-million dollar plant automation systems in the Food and Beverage industry. Passionate about delivering against my requirements, I've developed my skills to ensure requirements from my users are properly specified and vetted. I then build systems to meet those requirements and scale a team to support the systems once delivered. My focus has been on Manufacturing Execution Systems, with custom-built Engineering and Reporting Database capabilities. I've used my skills in SQL, Python, and Server Management (Windows/Unix) to drive these projects both from hands-on Technical Contributor role and from a Management and Mentorship role, often growing a system from myself to a multi-national support team. I also specialize in building the support functions around the systems I deliver, meeting highly demanding SLAs and building and mentoring teams to continue expanding and growing those systems. In various roles I've supported SLAs with 24/7 immediate response times, and built and managed the ticketing systems for those teams. At Meta, I set up research-based manufacturing and metrology data systems. Specializing in ETL using Python, SQL, Hive, Tableau, and various lifecycle management features. Also responsible for generation of documentation and tracking of changes through systems.
