Timothy Norris is an accomplished business developer, mentor, and trainer, having been in executive management of 3 major companies with gross revenues of hundreds of millions of dollars. The majority of Mr. Norris’ professional career has been consulting and managing consulting companies in the nuclear industry; for both private utilities and the Department of Energy. He gained his regulatory experience working directly for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and was Head, Operations for the Atomic Energy Corporation of South Africa. He coached managers and their operations staff concerning the development of safety analyses and implementation and assurance of proper Conduct of Operations. After moving to New Mexico, his passion for horses and agriculture was renewed and he directed his business development skills to that endeavor. Mr. Norris began his agriculture experience in at an early age working on the family farm near Birmingham, Alabama. Born into a family of farmers, hunters and fishermen, he was taught a proper work ethic and the attitude to “do what is necessary to get the job done”. Mr. Norris returned to agriculture in 1988 as the General Manager, Tours and Safaris for Club Africa Pty. Ltd. in South Africa. There, he assessed the suitability of tour and safari venues and Club Africa purchased 3 game farms (reserves) and leased others for its tour and Safari business. In 2014, Mr. Norris became president of Concho Hills, Inc, a start-up agri-tourism business featuring ranching, horseback riding and western heritage entertainment. He developed the company business plan, achieved commercial financing for the enterprise, researched numerous venues for the operation and developed facility concepts and plans and approved construction contracts for the equine, cattle, and lodging facilities.
