About Timothy Sloan

I am the Marketing Liaison for Dogwood Moving Co with over a year's experience in leading teams, customer relations, and asset management. I have ensured the safe transport of multi-thousand dollar items to their destinations, ensured the physical safety of my team, and earned multiple 5-star reviews for our company. I was a student at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with dual majors in English & Comparative Literature and in Peace, War, & Defense, with a minor in Russian Culture. I have worked as the Carolina Boxing Club president and former member of the Carolina Boxing Team. To gain more experience in writing both fiction and nonfiction, I was a member of Chapel Hill's local veteran writing group and veteran reading and discussion group. This experience helped me prepare for and finish a novella titled "Homefront" for my senior honors thesis. I have served over five years in the United States Marine Corps, which included petroleum engineering, administrative work, employee management, and in security. In addition, I have worked as a Corporate Revenue Intern and as a Personal Fitness Trainer for both individuals and groups.
