With over 14 years of experience in the bookstore industry, I am a passionate and dedicated store manager who strives to provide excellent customer service, efficient store operations, and quality education products. I am a certified trainer who enjoys coaching and mentoring my staff, as well as collaborating with the university and Barnes & Noble College to ensure a smooth and successful partnership. I am also a student advocate who seeks to understand and meet the diverse needs and preferences of the students and faculty at Mount Mary University. As the store manager at Mount Mary University Bookstore, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store, including sales, inventory, merchandising, marketing, budgeting, and reporting. I also manage the textbook department, ensuring that the orders, fulfillment, and returns are done accurately and timely. Additionally, I participate in the renovation team at Barnes & Noble College, where I help with transitioning new stores, training new staff, setting fixtures, and demonstrating the WOW experience in customer service. Some of the skills that I use and develop in my role are sales, customer service, project management, textbook management, and store operations.
