About Timothy Su

Tim’s first foray into startups began in 2005 when he was an early contributor to lead design for a then-obscure software project, uTorrent. Operating under the alias ‘ignorantcow’, he helped shape the early identity and user experience of what would become one of the most widely adopted BitTorrent clients in the world. The project became a defining tool in peer-to-peer file sharing. He then moved on to other startups that dealt with content discovery and social bookmarking. Tim eventually transitioned into working in Fortune 500 advertising agency networks, becoming one of the youngest Art Directors at age 23. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the brightest people in the industry and clinched some awards for his work along the way, including Spikes, The FWA and Cannes Lions. But Tim is a entrepreneur at heart and has an insatiable thirst for increasing efficiency by disrupting the status quo of existing processes through technology. So now he's back, keen to work on new ideas. Tim specialises foremost in creating interactive experiences, designed with people in mind. Combined with his ability as a front-end developer, his work is a seamless marriage of technology and design. His other capabilities include branding, design (digital and print) and has created not just award winning, but also measurably successful advertising campaigns in the past.
