I am currently taking a gap year (well it’s been interrupted by some acting gigs in Local Government) to write a book. Not sure what the book will be yet but one way I could describe it is 'a planners manifesto to save humanity from itself'. I guess I look around the world at western politics and culture, economic systems and the environmental destruction this is creating and I think we could do much better so my ambition is to add my two cents worth for how I think we could live in a society that sustainably exists within our planetary limits and that has a loving heart at its core. I am also a dedicated leader with over 20 years experience working in the Local Government Sector. Skilled in Strategic Planning, Urban & Regional Planning, Government Administration, Human Resource Development and Management. Passionate about making a positive contribution for the communities I work for and to provide opportunities for professional and personal development for the people I work with. I am striving to be my best self so that may inspire others to be their best self so that collectively we can inspire the best of humanity.
