About Timothy Toth

Retired in January of 2015, after spending 25 years with the City of Tonawanda Police Department. During my career, I spent 12 years as a School Resource Officer and 9 serving in the Youth Services Bureau, as the lead Juvenile Aid Investigator. I also spent 11 of those years creating relationships with our local print, radio and television news outlets as the department’s Media Relations Officer. In August of 2015, I took a security position with the Buffalo Sabres and Key Bank Arena. While there, I was responsible 11 years for providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for guests attending sporting events and concerts. I was also responsible for escorting and guarding General Managers of visiting National Hockey League teams and supervising members of the arena security staff. November of 2015, I was elected to a two-year term as 4th Ward Common Councilmember for the City of Tonawanda where I served on the Budget and finance Committees and worked with residents to resolve the long-standing issue of the proposed Veteran’s Park development project. In August of 2019, I achieved my dream of working for the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and took a position as a Security Host with even bigger dreams of moving up in the Company! After coming out of the Covid closure of 2020, I was selected as an Epcot Screening foreman, where I was responsible for the working with leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the entry Security Hosts. A few short months later, I moved into a the coveted position of Plain Clothes Operative with the Company, where I continued to Protect the Magic as a Security Specialist. March 2022 saw one of the most exciting chapters of my Disney career unfold, as I became a Certified Canine Handler working hand in paw with my Explosive Detector Dog, Pepe. We can be found, on any given day, patrolling the Park entrances to ensure a safe experience for our guests.
