About Timothy Wang

As an aspiring professional in the consulting industry, I find importance in how I can demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, and my ability to add value. Leadership: As a project manager, I led a team of consultants in creating podcasts for a social organization based in Myanmar which was distributed to 20+ universities, played on the national radio station in Myanmar, and posted to the organization's active podcast account. I also served as an advisor to develop materials and guides for future project managers to use as well as creating a detailed plan of guidance for the club to implement until the year 2028 to boost engagement and outreach within the IU community. Analytical Thinking: In high school, I started a Green Club to help battle environmental issues in the local community. Through diligent analysis of the community's status quo, I was able to find a major issue. My high school was not abiding by styrofoam disposal guidelines. By researching the topic, I constructed a financial model that would save my town a year. Adding Value: As an aspiring consultant, I look to add value where I can. I worked to assist a non-profit in creating a feasible, self-sustaining business model for acquiring and donating vehicles to ALICE individuals which would increase the quality of life for the individual by an estimated 50%. I also conducted due diligence and created and presented a report of the business model to the client and a panel of seed investors that helped generate over in initial funding.
