About Timothy Wright

I am a Registered Nurse, a Ph.D. trained Anthropologist, a Certified Case Manager, and a Health Educator with expertise and skills in assessing the health status and needs of culturally diverse populations. I am passionate about overcoming health disparities, at my best when accessing needed services for the medically indigent, including the homeless. I am committed to providing direct patient care as well as participating in program development. I am interested in linkages between spirituality and health and sexuality and health. I am a fully competent Spanish speaker, having lived, conducted research, and worked in health-oriented development agencies in Latin America for over seven years. I have taught both anthropology and nursing in college settings. A two time Fulbright scholar, I strive to acquire knowledge for action.
