Hello! I'm Timson, a UCLA alumnus with a degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics and a Specialization in Computing. I am currently a Senior Analyst at Whole Whale where I am solidifying my skills in the digital world, particularly in marketing analytics and data storytelling. I have also worked part-time as a Captain for the nonprofit COOP Careers, where I aided in educating prospective talents looking to break into the data industry. I have a strong technical skillset in Excel and Python that I have leveraged in various projects. I participated in actuarial student case competitions during my time at UCLA, where I analyzed simulated probability data to improve the accuracy and efficiency of various coverage plans. I have also used these tools to assist in various client consultations, analyzing their site performance and user engagement to then provide actionable suggestions that have improved their organizations' online presence. To complement my background, I possess a forward-thinking mindset with a great passion for learning and creativity. I'm rarely satisfied for long with the present and always look for improvements and ideas going into the future. I hope to develop and grow as a professional in the world of data within a team that shares my ambitious thinking.
