About Tin Tin Su
I have led an independent research program in Drosophila molecular genetics since 1998. Areas of research in my lab include cell cycle regulation, DNA repair and apoptosis. Basic research in my lab has been funded by federal and private grants from sources that include the NIH, the American Cancer Society, the Department of Defense, and the Cancer League of Colorado. As an active scientist engaged in basic research, it is my passion to develop what I find into therapies to improve human conditions. With this in mind, I co-founded SuviCa which is developing small molecule therapies for human oncology use. SuviCa's technology is based on my research findings in tissue regeneration. In addition to scientific research, I am interested in improving undergraduate instruction through innovative use of technology and peer discussion, and have published original peer-reviewed research articles in this field.
