About Tina Archer

Recent graduate of the University of Southern California. I studied stage management with a focus on communication, coordination, and efficiency. Stage management emphasizes organization, strategy, leadership, and ambition.Although open to what my future career path will encompass, I chose the stage management program at U.S.C. primarily because I enjoy critical thinking and problem solving. I crave efficiency and detail-oriented work that is situated in a larger goal, and stage management affords me that opportunity. Studying stage management has allowed me to grow my communication and organization skills and has encouraged the passion I hold for management. While certainly most of my experience is with stage management of live theatre productions, I have spent time on the other side of theatre production as well as time outside of theatre altogether. My time on the other side of theatre production (co-concept creator, designer, and writer) aided my development in building a community, dramaturgy research, directing, and writing. My time outside of theatre altogether (working as a multimedia journalist and a guest coordinator for Annenberg T.V. News) aided my development in communicating, video editing, and overall live events. Additionally, I served as the president of my sorority, and the challenges this position brought continued to hone my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
