I am currently a Debt and Economic Abuse Specialist and have been in the role for almost 2 years. Before that, I was a Specialist Debt Advisor at my local Citizens Advice for almost 3 years and previous to that, I was the Administrative Assistant for the previous Adviser. In total, I have been involved in debt advice for almost 15 years. Clients come to me in a very anxious state due to their situation and I love the fact that 9 times out of 10, they walk out with a smile on their face! I have undertaken the WiserAdviser Debt course which gave me the right to use the WiserAdviser City & Guilds approved debt Advice stamp on my letters. I also passed the MaPs Money Advice course via the IMA which makes me an Accredited Member of the IMA and also a certified MaPs Money Adviser. I love to learn and am always looking for courses to take with regard to my debt advice work. I am happy giving advice in any form, whether that be via the phone, face-to-face or online. I love a challenge and enjoy the feeling of meeting deadlines and targets.
