About Tina Karakasis

Starting out in the IT industry, I’ve gained valuable technical skills and knowledge that had helped me grow professionally. But I’ve always felt like something was missing, a sense of fulfillment that only comes from helping others. When the opportunity arose to immerse myself into a completely different industry and with a long standing non for profit aged care home as a general manager, I jumped at the chance. I was excited to apply my skills and experience to a field that aligned with my values and allowed me to give back to the elderly community. Over time, I have worked hard to learn the ins and outs of aged care management, and I continue to learn every day. I am building strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families. I now feel passionate in my role and proud to be making a positive impact on the lives of others.
