Oversee departmental documentation processes to assure accuracy, compliance and timely posting of patient records. I assisted in formulating and screening Quality Assurance criteria and providing in-service training to all staff. Initiate and participate in problem solving and improvement strategies through PMI’s, department meetings and CQI teams. Assist in the selection of new staff and coordinates the training and orientation of staff to the shift. Provide direction to departmental staff and reviews all work as necessary. I develop department standards by evaluating staff performance and initiating recommendations for associate developmental action plans. Evaluate patient care delivery on an ongoing basis through objective data collection and consulted with medical, nursing and administrative staff to coordinate patient care. I continuously research innovative models and techniques to enhance efficiency and efficacy of patient care delivery. Responded to all task or performance related questions patiently and thoroughly, providing context as well as direction in a manner appropriate for intended audience. Facilitate departmental staff meetings and participated on various interdisciplinary committees as requested. I set goals and objectives consistent with the organization’s goals and develops effective actions plans for their achievement.
