About Tina Thai

I am a highly organized and motivated professional with extensive experience in end-to-end payroll operations. I am currently employed with the Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF), a twenty-five million dollar nonprofit organization. I oversee and supervise two Payroll Processors and am responsible for the accuracy and timely payroll distribution for over 450 employees and 350 trainees on a bi-weekly basis. My responsibilities also include month and year end reconciliation of all of ECF’s payroll entries, as well as generating and supporting internal and external audits. I have been recognized for my leadership skills, excellent work ethics, as well as great organizational skills by my peers, supervisor as well as external auditors. Being an energetic person and quick learner, I thrive in busy and challenging environments. I work to tight deadlines and am renowned in my office for my accuracy and my ability to resolve reconciliation discrepancies. I have recommended a number of improvements to our existing system which have helped to make our processes smoother and more efficient. I have a Bachelors of Science degree from California State of Northridge in Accounting and I am proficient in ADP, E-time, Kronos and Report Smith, as well as Microsoft and few other accounting applications. I also stay up to date with relevant employment, tax and superannuation legislation as this knowledge is integral to my job. I am very much a team player and work well with others while also enjoying independent work and responsibility. My goal is to continue learning and developing my expertise in accounting.
