Registered Nurse with over 29 years of Operating Room experience. I aided in the development and training for the computerized peri-operative charting program, ORMIS; and the development and training for LAWSON system. Extensive experience with the following software packages and operating systems; Centricity, Sorian, PACS, Meditech, Logician, GHX, Extelligence, ORMIS, PICIS, ORSOS, LAWSON, ESI, TDS, HIS, Advantx, Microsoft Windows, Word, MS Project, Visio, and Excel. I have functioned in a magnitude of roles that have incorporated my management and clinical expertise. Participates in programs that explain and promote surgical service careers throughout the community. I have a talent for analyzing problems, developing and simplifying procedures, and finding innovative solutions. Management and clinical knowledge of the development in the surgical services environment with particular emphasis in the operating room setting. Utilizes available resources and enforces departmental policies. Demonstrates an ability to motivate and work effectively with a diverse group of staff, personalities, and departments. I have assisted in the implementation of information technology software programs throughout my nursing career and enjoy the challenge of learning new clinical systems.
