Tina Tomovic ist Forscherin und Designerin. Seit ihrem Master of Arts in Design ist sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Forschungsgruppe Produkt & Textil an der Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst tätig. In ihrer Forschungstätigkeit beschäftigt sie sich intensiv mit Aspekten der textilen Nachhaltigkeit. Seit 2016 gestaltet sie im Co-Teaching den Nachhaltigkeitsunterricht des Studienganges Textildesign an der Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst mit. Daneben wirkt sie in Innovationsprojekten, bei denen sie u.a. die Implementierung von textilem Wissen in nicht-textile Produktbereiche interessieren und baute im Projekt Silk Memory ein physisches sowie ein digitales Textilarchiv auf.
