Tirath is an experienced commercial insurance and dispute resolution solicitor with a particular focus on litigation, investigations and claims involving construction professionals, financial professionals (in particular insurance intermediaries and accountants) and professional indemnity and public liability disputes. Tirath has acted for insurers and their assureds across the full spectrum of professions and has been instructed to deal with complex and high value professional indemnity claims and to provide advice to insurers on policy coverage and to draft policy wordings. Having spent six years specialising in insurance litigation in the UK, Tirath has broad experience of many aspects of professional risks and acting in contentious matters involving construction professionals, solicitors and financial institutions. Tirath was involved in the major litigation arising from the collapse of the sub-prime lending market when a number of financial institutions were looking to recover their losses from surveyors and valuers. Tirath also spent 8 months on secondment in the claims team of a major London market insurer between 2007 and 2008.
