About Tirth Patel

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student at University of Windsor, I am passionate about applying my engineering skills and knowledge to real-world problems and solutions. I have completed two co-op terms as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Vista and a Manufacturing Engineer at Northstar Aerospace, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in designing, testing, and improving products and processes. In my co-op roles, I used various software tools, such as Siemens NX, Catia, and Autocad, to create and modify 3D models, drawings, and simulations. I utilized manufacturing engineering techniques and methodologies to improve product quality and supporting production processes. I also performed quality inspections, root cause analyses, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Also, I applied certain statistical methods for effective data analysis using Tableau, Databricks and MS Excel. Additionally, I collaborated with cross-functional teams, communicated effectively with the team, and handled to multiple projects at the same time. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated my core competencies in problem solving, communication and root cause analysis.
