I am a finance professional with a strong track record of growth and achievement in both audit and strategy & transactions advisory. My career began at KPMG Sri Lanka, where I started as an Audit Intern and progressed to the role of Audit Senior. During my time there, I developed a solid foundation in auditing standards, financial reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance, working across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries. This experience honed my analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver accurate and insightful financial information under tight deadlines.Seeking to expand my expertise and take on more strategic challenges, I transitioned to EY Sri Lanka’s Strategy and Transactions division. Here, I started as a Supervisor and currently serve as an Assistant Manager. I lead transaction advisory projects including mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, and restructuring. I collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design tailored solutions that drive value and support critical business decisions. I have acquired a strong technical knowledge, leadership, communication, and project management skills to ensure successful outcomes.Complementing my hands-on experience, I hold an MBA specializing in Finance, which has strengthened my strategic thinking and broadened my perspective on business and financial management. I’m passionate about leveraging data-driven insights and innovative approaches to help organizations achieve their goals.I enjoy meeting new people which can help me to develop as an individual, professionally and personally. And also willing to learn new things even outside of my current field as this will bring me out into better understanding of various career path options.
