I'm a mission-driven leader, big picture thinker, relationship builder, coach, strategist, imaginer of possibilities, lover of words, constant learner, and fluid generalist who is passionate about making the world better. I focus on empowering others, especially the most marginalized among us, to become economically secure, fulfilled, healthy, and happy.At heart, I'm a student-and a teacher. I love learning new things almost as much as I love witnessing that "light bulb" moment when someone I'm working with discovers something new. I've been in the education field for over 15 years and my approach to my work is informed by all the things it takes to be a great educator: an approach that's steeped in relationships, curiosity, rigor, equity, and an assets-based approach.As the Practice Lead for Operationalizing Equity and Inclusion at August Public, I design, test, and lead engagements to support organizations in adopting new ways of working that help redistribute power, redefine professionalism, and are radically inclusive. Through this work, I support organizations in getting better business outcomes and contribute to a more just world.August was founded to help organizations realize their most ambitious goals by building more open, agile and inclusive teams. Our superpower is helping large, complex organizations succeed in a world where change and complexity are the new normal. We understand that lasting change requires changing individuals, teams, and the systems that shape how they interact.
