About Tisha Banerjee

20+ plus years of varied experience in Life Science industry, working as a scientific support to Business Development groups for early as well as late-stage assets. Started my career at a science driven drug discovery startup. Was instrumental in building the network knowledge base which was at the core of the companies Translational Drug Discovery platform. Shifted to the Business development group of the company and was active member of the team responsible for two pre-clinical asset deals done with global pharmaceutical companies. Joined R&D BD group of Biocon Ltd. working towards collaboration, out/in-licensing of Novel programs. Executed the deal for an international grant for a novel molecule and participated in the out-licensing of a novel monoclonal antibody. Currently, working with Biocon Biologics as a part of the Advance Market BD & L team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. Key responsibilities include driving business growth for the company by adding new products, programs, and technologies to the portfolio. Also, out-licensing and collaboration initiatives for company’s existing biosimilar programs. Was active member of the team executing in-licensing deal of a digital therapeutic and an antibody for COVID. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams and external partners which allow me to learn the tricks of the trade every single day.
