About Titanium Syn

I believe UI/UX design is the key to telling stories in the modern world. The difference between good and bad user experience design can be the difference between a customer understanding you and a customer walking away. UX design, interaction design and experience design are essential to making an experience feel good and so bring people back to it. Which is where my skills come in. Hi, I’m a once-upon-a-time web designer who finally remembered what they loved about web design, and realized that could be leveraged into a number of different fields: Product design, visual design, UI/UX design, you name it. Currently I’m taking Springboard’s UI/UX course, with the goal of honing my skills and learning how to pivot into this new role. My past experience already prepared me for most of it, plus some! I’m familiar with most of the Adobe creative suite (particularly photoshop, illustrator and lightroom), have extensive Wordpress experience, as well as wireframing, responsive web design and languages such as CSS and HTML5. Right now, I’m learning to use Figma, as well as more structured usability testing and how to design mobile applications. I’m excited to bring my background of marketing, customer service and web design into the world of UI/UX design. This is what I love. Figuring out what people want and need from an experience. Spending a whole day just fiddling with a layout until it’s perfect. This is a field I’m truly passionate about. I can’t wait to get started.
