SUMMARY: Designing complete lesson plans and Ukg curriculum. Teaching alphabets, numerals,identifying colours, shapes, objects, concepts related to English, number work & various topics concerning the environment. Using a variety of activities & instructional methods (songs,stories, media,structured games,art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate & stimulate children’s abilities. Present lessons to the entire class as well as arrange for small group learning stations based on educational themes to address a variety of learning styles. Take classes to improve children’s fine motor skills. Assess student’s performance, progress & ensure that they are mastering the skills on a regular basis. Maintain an open line of communication with parents & provide appropriate information regularly/PTM. Organising learning materials & resources. Instruction & Classroom: Explains concepts using various method in a structured manner for effective application Uses various techniques and methodologies to make learning effective and hold the attention span of children for a longer period. Teaches children to analyse and apply the learnt concepts in an effective way. Uses micro teaching to teach concepts. Writing: Can write an effective progress report card explaining the positives and the scope of improvement in a subtle manner. Imagination & Creativity: Creates new & interesting ways to involve students during story narration. b)Behavioral Passion & Energy: Able to work with children of different calibre. Finds out student’s interest and uses appropriate mhods to channelize their energy in the right direction Patience : Able to understand the bottom line of a problem and solve it with patience. Adaptability & Flexibility : Adapt the lesson plan to suit the interest and ability of children. Teamwork :Can work with a variety of support staff to ease the work pressure. Leadership : Guide students,be in charge & set the tone of the class. Coordinates and plans the framework of a syllabus pertaining to the overall development of a child.
