About Tiyiselani Mathe

I am a Media analyst, journalist, and writer by profession currently working for Pear Africa. I am hell-bent on creating a knowledge society. I usually strive for perfection in everything that I lay my hands on. I firmly believe that I can bring about much-needed change to society in the small corner that I occupy. I have been in the industry for nine years, and I have had the pleasure of working for some of the country’s best Media companies. I am a diligent, confident, punctual, and polite individual and always show tenacity in my work ethic. I enjoy challenges and believe in completing tasks to the best of my abilities. Some of my skills include: professionalism in the completion of tasks; a team player; I contribute immensely to creative thinking, planning or organisation and I am competent in writing. I have also managed to gain excellent client and media-relationship maintenance skills and the ability to work in a pressured environment. Over my years of being in the industry, I have learned that media analysis is not just a career, but my passion. My experiences include working on leading global and national brands such as FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, City of Joburg, City of Tshwane, Old Mutual, SAA, AGSA, Parliament of South Africa, Special Investigative Unit(SIU), South African Bureau of Standards(SABS), the South African Biodiversity Institute (SANBI), Road Freight Association(RFA), Sea Harvest, Water Research Commission(WRC), South African Revenue Services(SARS), University of Johannesburg, University of Stellenbosch, Financial Sector Conduct Authority(FSCA), just to name a few. I hold a Degree in Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of Venda. I am a published author of 2 books.
