About Tj Amos
I have extensive experience in human services, since 1979. I have worked with multiple issues, such as developmental disabilities, child abuse, forensic mental health, homelessness, adolescent sex offenders, volunteered for crisis lines, and provided individual, family and group therapy. I am licensed and I am working to build a private practice, possibly in a group practice, with a specialization in the field of trauma (both personal -such as abuse, and social -including tragedies such as 9/11, earthquakes, floods, etc.), complex PTSD, offering therapy to children (including abuse reactive children), and their families. While I enjoy private practice, I also enjoy working with a team and engaging with other professionals.*I was approved as an LCMHCA April 2021.
