About Tj Corbett

I am an artist. In today's day and age, that means that I must be fluent in many different mediums and forms of artistic expression. I am one of the founders of Hole in the Wall Theatre Company. We have been a troupe of forward-thinking artists since 2007, when we met at UM-Flint. Since then we have performed all over the state of Michigan, from Detroit to Grand Rapids and all in between. In 2010, we brought an original comedy to Chicago, IL for a one-weekend run. I am the Artistic and Managing Director of the company, as well as one of our directors. My specialty/expertise is in the style of comedy, namely that of the Commedia dell'Arte. I have been a guest director at University Liggett School, and am a constant guest artists, sharing my knowledge of the theatre arts with their students. I also am independently publishing two of my own original sequential art series (that's a fancy way to say comic books/graphic novels), one a comedic situation comedy, and one an expansive fantasy epic. I have used my sequential art/cartoonist skill-set to design characters, t-shirts, posters, and other forms of advertisement around the Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids areas.
