About Toby Cowing

In July 2023 I graduated from Coventry University with a First class in marketing. I have worked at Paynes Heating since October where I have been learning many skills and getting stuck in with several roles. Paynes Heating is a local heating and plumbing which has expanded to take on contracts in London while maintaining a flow of private work in the local area. I was lucky to be able to leverage my marketing degree to advance into the Marketing Manager role in February 2024. The freedom this role has granted me to utilise my degree has been great and I am learning very fast in the deep end. I have big aspirations to push the private side of the company to new heights. The main projects I have worked on so far are- Developing a new website with an external team. This will allow Paynes to have in-house access to change as we need- Increasing our local presence at expos and other events. We have already attended one successfully and have some more planned in the near future- Updating all of our print media in local magazines and local publications- Starting social media from scratch on Instagram and Facebook as well as starting to post on LinkedIn.
