Leadership of ACT-like community outreach program team and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff. Program offers two distinct services:(1) Transition Service to support of adult individuals discharging from - or vulnerable to referral for - inpatient psychiatric care at county E & Ts. We offer wraparound support and establish successful transition to and/or sustaining of community living and outpatient mental health and medical services as needed;(2) Diversion Program in conjunction with local Emergency Rooms and Mobile Outreach Crisis Team services to assist those facing possible psychiatric hospitalization in remaining in an appropriate, supported community setting. I am also a Certified CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) instructor for Telecare in the Pacific Northwest. Recovery Model This program follows Telecare’s Recovery-Centered Clinical System (RCCS), an innovative recovery framework that incorporates the latest research and evidence-based practices. RCCS emphasizes doing no harm and supporting and enlivening recovery. My licensure is as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both the states of Washington and California with 20+ years experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings (in-patient units, community-based mental health, educational settings, and private practice). Specialties include: WA state Dept. of Health Approved Clinical Supervisor; extensive experience as a petitioner for mental health court and giving expert testimony; working with clients experiencing acute exacerbation of symptoms; working with clients managing serious, persistent, and long-term mental health challenges; organizational instructor for CPI Non-Violent Physical Intervention trainings for all staff; working within a Recovery Model.
