About Toby Wellington

My current role is Operations and Projects Manager with the University of Bath which draws upon all of the key skills I have developed in various previous qualifications and roles. Always looking for opportunities to develop relationships with businesses and create opportunities for students and businesses to grow, whilst also ensuring the smooth functioning of the faculty of HSS. I am a very passionate, hard working and driven individual who enjoys a challenge. I am an approachable, friendly and focused professional keen to display and develop my skills in a challenging environment. As well as working at the University of Bath, I have recently finished my role working as a Sports Therapist in the Vanarama National League South with Bath City Football Club. Qualified with a 2:1 in Bsc Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire as well as a PGCE from the University of Plymouth. I have a passion for being the best educator possible and this reflects in my approach to my career and my acquiring of the QTLS to further enhance myself. Most recently a full time lecturer at Strode's College (in Egham Surrey) as a part of a thriving sports department, teaching on the level 2 and 3 programmes alongside coaching the girls netball team. Previously head sports therapist, first aider and massage therapist at AFC St. Austell, Accrington Stanley Football Club first team and youth team providing soft tissue work, injury assessment/ treatment, prehab/ rehab and taping and strapping. Additionally, vast amounts of experience with other professional teams such as Argentina's national rugby union 1st team and Tamworth Football Club first team. Also I have experience at a local level in football, rugby, athletics and handball.
