About Toby Wilson

Kind, friendly and approachable person who is always willing to help others. Growing up I would always look to be helping people and diffuse situations, some worked and naturally some did not as is the way with life! It taught me to always try and look at things from a different prospective. Starting my career in administrations and customer services industry, through supermarket working and assisting the NHS during Covid with multiple roles they have helped me develop my skills when talking with new people. Before Covid I had plans for another career path but during my time working with the NHS and doing data analytics, alongside recommendations from family it directed me towards where I am now. I also enjoyed a long trip to New Zealand over the Christmas period to refresh and live life away from home and in another country with new family members which I thoroughly enjoyed. Travel is important and it gives you perspective on how other cultures approach the same things we do. Fully signed off CeMAP qualified financial adviser since January 2023 (after returning from New Zealand) with first hand training experience from February 2021 I am now building my portfolio and making my mark in the financial sector. I love the fact that every day and case are different and it keeps me constantly learning new things to make sure what I give to my clients remains the best. Clients keep work fresh and create unique experiences and this is very important to me, with the role of a Financial Adviser it also means we have to be highly compliant and follow the correct FCA guidelines whilst looking through documents in detail to spot anomalies and also create audit trails to protect both the clients and myself as a financial adviser. This is something that is ever-growing and a key interest to me. This current role gives me an excellent opportunity to speak to new people in a diverse workplace and I am always looking to gain new experiences, compliance and auditing a key area I am potentially interested in researching more on.
