Toby Zack is founding principal of her namesake design firms, TOBY ZACK DESIGNS, and THE TOBY COLLECTION, an eclectic assemblage of exceptional contemporary furniture. Toby’s amazing multifaceted installations incorporate an extraordinary melange of crisp, yet classic minimalism. she has successfully created many sophisticated residences throughout Florida as well as Michigan, New York and South America. Her award winning interiors are featured in leading national and international consumer and trade publications. Most recently in the February issue of Architectural Digest for Architect Robert M. Swedroe’s Biscaya Island home. Toby Zack of Toby Zack Designs, Fort Lauderdale Background: Zack, a staple in the South Florida design community, has been in business more than 30 years. She created The Toby Collection, a contemporary furniture line, and has received several awards, including Top 25 Designers for creativity from Opustone and Interior Design Excellence Award in 2005. Her work has appeared in national magazines ranging from Better Homes & Gardens and Metropolitan Home to Architectural Digest. Signature style: Contemporary, minimalist, clean, classic design. A native of New York, raised in Long Island, Toby attended Boston University. Later she moved to Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University. Toby Zack relocated to South Florida in 1974 and is an affiliate of IIDA (International Interior Designers Association South Florida Chapter) Florida Lic. Her showrooms are filled with unique accessories from around the world, all discovered by Toby during her worldwide travels.
