Simply Kimberley has slowly built out our vacation-rental property portfolio. Our primary business activity is experiential packaging for our destination clientele in our home resort of Kimberley, BC. In 2013, Tod also launched Resort Tours and Transportation focussing on private shuttles and charter transportation solutions. Resort Tours is increasingly serving the premium mechanized powder market (cat/heli) along the Powder Highway and in summer, we cater to destination golf visitors to the Kimberley/Cranbrook golf resorts of British Columbia. In 2001, Tod founded a ski tour company called Backside Tours out of Edmonton, AB. In May 2013, after twelve seasons of cranking out Backside's growth, Tod divested his majority shares in Backside Tours to pursue tourism opportunities closer to heart and home, in the Resort Municipality of Kimberley, BC.
