With over 35 years of experience, I specialize in leading multi-disciplinary projects with a strong focus on construction regulatory compliance and environmental and socio-economic impact assessments. My career has spanned roles as a proponent, regulator, and environmental consultant—giving me a well-rounded perspective on environmental permitting, construction, and operations for major industry developments across Canada and internationally. I’ve provided strategic direction and technical expertise to project teams of up to 200 professionals, covering terrestrial, aquatic, air/noise, and human environment disciplines. My approach is grounded in flexibility and collaboration, recognizing that every project and client is unique. As a Principal in three employee-owned consulting firms over the past decade, I’ve served as a company ambassador, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients ranging from small operators to multinational corporations. I’ve also contributed to corporate strategy, fiscal management, and business growth initiatives in response to evolving market conditions. I’ve led environmental permitting and regulatory applications for numerous large-scale, federally and provincially regulated upstream and midstream energy projects, and have served as an expert witness in both federal and provincial hearings. My work has taken me across Canada and internationally, including projects in the United States, Philippines, Africa, and South America.
