About Tod Nutt

With the ability to bring people together to get things done, I’ve gained a wealth of experience and transferable skills which includes 12 years in strategic leadership roles and 25 years in security/law enforcement. I am also a state licensed Security Manager with the Department of Public Safety; Private Security Bureau. One of my greatest strengths is in solving problems and improving organizations. This includes establishing a strategic direction for an entire organization’s Security and Police Force and Emergency Management. Additionally, I’ve overseen all security systems selection, integration, and operation of card access and CCTV camera systems. My track record reveals a history as a subject matter expert for Emergency Management and Business Continuity disciplines. Also notable, I’ve engaged in business continuity and policy development to meet organizational strategic emergency management objectives and governing regulatory compliance. In my current role with WeWork I serve as Security operations leader for central United States territory, which consist of 44 co-working/multi-tenant professional hi-rise office locations (3.9million sqft) throughout the central US region. I lead the physical Security program, Security systems (CCTV/Access Control), and both internal and criminal investigations. Also serve as the SME for Security, Emergency Management, Training, and Business Continuity for the territory. Tenure highlights include: Developed and implemented global risk assessment and mitigation planning strategy within the security/emergency management verticals for over 800 locations in 23 countries/127 markets. Oversee all aspects of investigations within assigned territory, to include engagement with law enforcement and organizational stakeholders. Serve as primary incident manager for all emergency management planning, exercises, response, and recovery within territory. Establish strategic security leadership and engagement will organizational executives and executive stakeholders.
