About Todd Bauch

For 30+ years, people looking to develop their talents doing something they love have found Todd to be an asset. His passion is helping people redefine their talents and realize their ability. Initially, the setting was as a certified instructor, leadership development specialist, and professional athlete in adventure recreation (climbing, wilderness travel, whitewater and open water paddling). Later the setting changed to leadership in higher education and collegiate recreation. In this setting, Todd has built, or rebuilt, organizations into award-winners in their profession - recognized by the likes of NIRSA - Leaders In Collegiate Recreation as well as The Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education. He has served as faculty and in leadership roles in both of these associations. Throughout this, he learned that success is not only navigated but also negotiated while on the move. Somedays, deciding to be "not the greatest, but pretty damn good" allows you the expertise, resources, and efficiency to fully discover even more tomorrow. Knowing that we are all better people when we can picture ourselves navigating the challenges of the unknown, Todd's training priority is creating inclusive settings that bring people together to practice being successful and creating momentum as a cohort that supports each other beyond the boundaries of a project.
