I am CPA professional with nearly 30 years of experience in finance. I have had the privilege of working in several different sectors, including Telecom, logistics, and the healthcare industry. Throughout my career I have contributed to significant company growth, improved financial processes, and strengthen internal controls. As Director of Finance at Network Wireless Solutions, I improved the financial processes related to AP/AR, invoicing, budgeting, account reconciliation, and audits. My direct contributions of financial analysis and financial reporting greatly impacted the company and enabled it grow from a $8M startup to a $250M company. At Connexion Technologies, I advanced from Senior Financial Analyst to Accounting Manager. In this position, I supervised a five-person team and prepared insightful month-end close reports and prepared key forecasts. I also analyzed financial data in order to identify key trends that were vital for decision making. This role also enabled me to strengthen my leadership skills through effective communication and collaboration. Prior to my two most recent positions, I worked in the logistics sector where I introduced a comprehensive monthly variance review process, launched a balance sheet framework, and ensure compliance with regulations for accurate property tax reporting. I also worked in the healthcare sector where I led a team of 15 in business operations, decision making, and financial planning for a non-profit substance abuse center for incarnated females. While there I worked the CEO and the Board of Directors. Additionally, I negotiated vendor contracts and worked with HUD for non-profit status approval.
