About Todd Goold

I am a dedicated and forward-thinking leader with the foresight, maturity, and coordination skills required to support and enhance your organization's mission, vision, and values. During my eight years at the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (BTFC), I honed my expertise in team and volunteer management, as well as in coordinating, planning, and delivering group facilitation, leadership training, and national programs. My role involved fostering strong collaborative relationships with team members, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community members. I also served as a "systems navigator," providing nationwide support for Canadians impacted by chronic or life-limiting illnesses. I excel at swiftly assessing situations and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist individuals in navigating the healthcare system. In addition, I have conducted environmental analyses for nonprofit organizations, helping them advance their missions, enhance their support programs, and align their strategic objectives. I developed performance indicators to mentor team members and volunteers, considering constraints that may impede growth. Working collaboratively with teams, I have contributed to individual, departmental, and organizational impact plans, ensuring that the information and support provided are impactful, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth. I earned a Leadership Training Certificate from the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre and have participated in numerous workshops and conferences on crisis intervention, cultural awareness, psychosocial oncology, and palliative/end-of-life care. Through my personal and professional journey, I have come to understand that success is rarely achieved in isolation. Growth, learning, healing, and development happen through relationships. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and mentorship I have received throughout my career. Currently, I contribute my expertise as a team member at Wellspring London, Stratford, and Region, as well as an Independent Contractor collaborating with nonprofit organizations across Southwestern Ontario.
