About Todd Grant

Marine Corps veteran with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I am a mission driven problem solver and enjoy working solo and in team environments. I have years of experience working in austere environments supporting the U.S. Department of State and the Diplomatic Mission in Baghdad, Iraq; Kirkuk, Iraq; Herat, Afghanistan; and Kabul, Afghanistan where I served as a Protective Security Specialist and Shift Leader on mobile protection details. Details provided transportation and close protection for Department of State personnel which included the Ambassadors to Iraq and Afghanistan, Secretaries of State, multiple Congressional Delegations, and even the Vice President of the United States. While deployed I pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science. Upon returning home, I began working in the environmental science field managing ponds and aquatic environments for algae and aquatic vegetations. This experience led to an opportunity to work as an Environmental Inspector overseeing the construction of 36" Liquid Natural Gas pipelines and in West Virginia and Ohio. I had the pleasure of working with and developing relationships with people from various pipeline construction jobs from: Right of Way clearing, surveying, engineering, blasting, ditching, tie-ins, environmental and restoration. I also interfaced with other inspectors and monitors from state and federal agencies to ensure that project activities conformed to permits, federal and state regulations. Construction activities were documented with daily inspection reports that included photographs, video and drone footage.
