About Todd Larson

As a design-builder with over 36 years of domestic and international experience in all aspects of project delivery, Todd is able to bridge the needs and requirements of his client, planners, design engineers, constructors and operators, ensuring that the alliance of stakeholders develop excellent solutions. Taking projects from business development to planning for project delivery is a specialty expertise particularly with Todd's span of experience from business development to commercial to project delivery. Todd applies his extensive experience with construction risk management and claims serving as Director of Risk on MWH’s executive leadership team. He is responsible for MWH’s corporate risk governance working with the CEO and Legal department. In this role Todd leads and is responsible for claims management and mitigation. Todd also serves as MWH’s Director of Engineering providing overall executive leadership to engineering functions, as well as project schedule controls, quality management, and digital delivery (BIM) departments. Todd has developed business for and led project delivery teams for DBO, CMAR, Australian Alliance, and traditional DBB delivery methods. His Project Management background include overall planning; execution and control; start-up and closeout on water and wastewater treatment projects up to to US$420-million in project cost. As an expert in water and wastewater treatment process, design, and construction, Todd has recent experience on semi-conductor client projects domestically and internationally. In addition to construction and project management expertise, Todd is unique in the industry holding professional engineering licenses in Texas, Ohio, Maryland, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado and Missouri in the United States. Todd’s credentials include certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, DBIA, and ENV SP. Todd’s experience and credentials result in an alliance approach to successful projects. Specialties: Alternative delivery of major water and industrial water treatment projects in the North America, Asia, Middle East, and Australia. Industrial semiconductor project experience. Experience in water and wastewater development projects by traditional design-bid-build, design-build-operate (DBO), construction management at risk (CMAR), and Australian Alliancing. Particular interest in water reuse and desalination projects. Todd is also a real estate investor and entrepreneur with businesses in Colorado and Oregon. Todd is an avid fly fisherman.
