About Todd Logan

Built upon the strong foundation of Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration as well as the rigorous training of Chartered Accountancy (CA), now recognized as Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), I am an experienced finance professional who is passionate about developing strong, capable and independent finance professionals and teams. As a professional accountant I have spent a decade working in all aspects of accounting from cradle to grave accounting supporting small/medium sized companies to leading consolidation functions for a multi-billion dollar international organization and everything in between. The "in between" includes, but is not limited to, leading transitions from US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and support of local and international start-ups through various phases of growth. As a finance professional I have spent a decade honing my story telling ability and developing a passion for working within complex systems and developing high functioning teams within those complex systems. This experience has ranged from supporting feedstock acquisition, refining economics, refinery benchmarking, commodity risk management (CRM), logistics & distribution, and environmental compliance for Canada's largest oil refinery. Not limited to just oil & gas, I have also spent time supporting start-up organizations navigate the complexities of incorporation, cashflow modeling, international reporting and lender relations.
