Broadly trained chemist that works across boundaries to achieve results. Driven, and independent, but with proven skills collaborating and communicating with diverse groups. In my 15 years of experience in research labs, I have worked on both sides of the Atlantic, in industry and academia, in research groups ranging from medicinal/combinatorial chemistry, mechanistic inorganic chemistry, and chemical physics. Through curiosity and collaboration, my work has given me expertise in a range of techniques and approaches - from organic synthesis, quantitative data analysis, electrochemistry, computational chemistry/mathematical modeling, and a range of spectroscopies and kinetic techniques - to answer questions which underpin energy flow in biology, as well as synthetic renewable energy technologies.
