About Todd Mauritz

Todd is a proactive member of the global agriculture and produce industry, with a focused goal of helping develop new markets and implement new technology for a cleaner and more efficient supply chain. His experiences have led him to work on all sides of the industry, from nursery and field production to harvest management to export and cold-chain management to sales and marketing. Through these experiences, Todd has been involved in every facet of the agriculture and produce industry from the creation of the plant in the nursery all the way to the consumer buying the finished product off a retailer shelf. One of Todd's main focus is on the adaptation and implementation of new technology to create more sustainable, productive, and efficient production and export models. He recently concluded a direct management role in the creation of a 600ha blueberry farm in Peru and has worked with investment firms to both help create business models and perform due-diligence assessments on behalf of investors and/or acquisition firms. His ideas, knowledge, and experience have led growers to increase yields in the field, exporters to improve quality upon delivery, and fresh fruit marketers to expand sales opportunities. As well, his work has helped investors create smart investments and ensure that a thorough understanding of the business opportunity was understood before a decision was made.
