When I'm not writing new data analysis features for scientists or automating cell culture tests in the biolab, I'm probably day-dreaming about the perfect DnD monster and how to have my team win. I'm a senior backend engineer with about 9 years of experience, largely in the medical industry. I've worked at smaller 500 person companies to 10k enterprises, from Windows desktop apps to cloud based, data driven, medical analysis applications. I pride myself on learning and integrating. I'll pick up any new (or ancient) technology and become a subject-matter expert in the blink of an eye with my freaky near-photographic memory. From there, I'll make sure to keep in touch with TPMs, Application Scientists, Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical Engineers, Data Scientists, The friendly custodian with the great red beans and rice recipe, all to make sure that our software fits into the larger system as a whole. Some of my accomplishments- Developed differential evolution optimization tool (patent pending) in Python, FastAPI, C++, JavaScript, and React to enable users to use cell health analysis device, projected to convert over $15M in new sales- Investigated complex legacy C# and C++ software to redesign modern JavaScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL system, solving time critical customer issue which saved over $2 million in equipment returns- Coordinated, designed, and developed backend cell analysis software for new vaccine research device using Python, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, C#, SQL, and LinQ, improving analysis performance by 300%- Built internal tool for automating registry key changes between different versions of C#, WPF application, improved developer productivity by 25%- Engineered internal tool for rebuilding, managing, and deploying IIS servers to host C#, WPF application to optimize engineering development workflows by 15%- Designed and implemented LDAP security feature to allow customers to log into c#, WPF application using existing network domain credentials.
