I'm currently on a personal sabbatical following a 20 year career as a global marketing operations manager and editorial director. I've thrived as a remote employee and manager working from locations around the world which has provided me with a clear understanding of how best to make a distributed workforce flourish while implementing strategic communications and marketing programs to support global brand agendas. My strength is my ability to unravel complex concepts and challenges and distill them to their core issue. I attribute this to my empathy which helps me understand stakeholder wants and needs. Then I develop a concise roadmap on what needs to be done to solve the problem and communicate it in the manner and methodology best for the target audience. I thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing and deadline driven environments and when tasked with assembling, aligning and managing global teams.
