About Todd Muhlenkamp

I am happy to announce that I have passed my comps, which makes me an official Ph.D. candidate in business psychology. My primary focus area is employee engagement. At the APA conference in 2020, I was fortunate enough to present my dissertation topic Learned Helplessness as a Group Construct. Work HistoryMy work experience is very eclectic. I was a restaurant manager for 16 years. During this, I developed a management training course on coaching. When I obtained my MBA (Applied Management), I left the restaurant industry for manufacturing. During the last decade in manufacturing, I have held quality engineering, quality management, program management, and commercial account manager positions. During my time at TI Fluid Systems, I also played a significant support role in application engineering. Core BeliefsI believe that anything can be improved. I believe that no one gets there alone. I believe that the sum is greater than the parts.I believe in engagement, accountability, and celebrating success. The most rewarding experience that I have had over my 20+ years in management is seeing my team reach goals they thought they never could achieve.
