Extensive investigation experience ranging from simple person-based offence investigations, through to complex and protracted multi agency coronial investigations. Keen focus on root cause analysis, understanding the Human Factors involved, and adoption of a risk-based investigative approach. Risk Management specialist with experience in all aspects of the investigation, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation cycle. Integral member of an award-winning risk management team, responsible for the creation and validation of an industry leading risk management framework and associated tool. This project was undertaken in collaboration with the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA) and the Inspector General of Emergency Management (IGEM). Proven track record of successful prosecutions using best practice investigations methodology and intelligence driven evidence collection. A strong investigative approach focusing on the identification on what has occurred and why, before recommending remedial measures put in place and tracked to ensure their effectiveness. Successful small business owner and creator of several bespoke innovative products, from the Barnacle Action Camera to performance fitness apparel. I have successfully launched two Kickstarter (crowd funding) campaigns which resulted in over fifty thousand dollars raised and multiple products shipped worldwide. Founding member of the Australian Federal Police Cultural Diversity Board which is focused on addressing diversity equality within the organisation and is responsible for creating the framework to enable change.
